Children's Ministry

We love our children and youth at Christ Church. We are deeply committed to them and believe that raising them in the context of godly discipleship is at the core of our calling as a church body. They are entrusted to us to model and teach them about the love of our Father, salvation through Jesus and the active presence of the Spirit to walk with them as they grow along their spiritual journey. We take that responsibility seriously with awe at the privilege.

Nursery (9am and 11am)
Our nursery welcomes nursing mothers and children ages 0-5. We desire to provide a peaceful and prayerful environment for our very littlest ones where they can know God's love at the very earliest stage of their young lives. Our Nursery Angels are experienced, trained and loving caregivers whose desire is to bless the children as well as their families. Little Explorers: Preschool (9am and 11am)
For our toddlers we have a happy and safe environment where they sing songs, make crafts and learn about Jesus. We pray that their experience with God will sink deeply into their little hearts, souls, and spirits.

Truth Explorers: Kindergarten and 1st Grade (9am and 11am)
Our teachers lead the Truth Explorers in a biblical lesson with discussion and Q&A focused on the biblical theme of the day. Children also have opportunities for movement and games, crafts and a snack, all suited to engage each child in a quest of the heart, mind and soul.

Light Explorers: 2nd and 3rd Grade (9am and 11am)
Same format as for Truth Explorers

Faith Explorers: 4th through 6th Grade (9am and 11am)
This age group focuses on aspects of worship, taking an in-depth and biblical journey through Lord's Prayer, the Nicene Creed, musical worship, communion, gifts of the Spirit, etc.
