Prayer Ministry

The members of The Christ Church Healing Ministry make themselves available during Sunday worship services to pray for anyone seeking healing of their spirit, mind, or body. In addition, Intensive Healing Prayer is offered for issues that are deeper and more personal or long term than what can be prayed for during the Sunday ministry time. It consists of teams that pray with individual people for 4 weeks at a time. These teams pray for physical illness, spiritual difficulties, and emotional difficulties. A covenant agreement is made between the prayer team and the person receiving intensive healing prayer. This covenant emphasizes that because God is the source of all healing, it is the responsibility of the person receiving prayer to daily study God's Word and seek His healing.

"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective" - James 5:13-16
