Worship and Music

Worship is an essential part of the community's life at Christ Church. On Sunday mornings, Christ Church gathers together to participate in worship. This comes in the form of liturgy, preaching of the Word of God, prayer, and music.

Christ Church has a long history of excellence in musical worship. The Sunday morning service celebrates the breadth of expression of musical expression found in Christendom and Anglicanism in particular. The worship music is a mixture of old and new, quiet and wild, meditative and celebratory; all squarely aimed at the glorification of God and the acknowledgment of His presence in our midst.

Pastored by Bryan Brown, a graduate of Trinity Episcopal School of Ministry, the worship team leads the congregation in musical worship each week. The members of the team are musicians from within the congregation who have responded to God's call on their lives to offer their musical abilities to Him. There are many talented musicians at Christ Church, many of whom rotate in and out of the worship team. The worship ministry is also responsible for the audio/visual presentation during the service.
